Hello everyone,
I am having problems ever since I installed version 5.2 with my materials. Every time I try to open a job, or even when I take a cabinet to the cabinet editor, it keeps telling me that the material does not exist and I need create it. I have create the same material probably 5 or 6 times. It still telling me that I need to create this certain sheet stock material over and over again.
What do I need to do for this to stop?
Thanks!
Version 5.2 build 1

Sergio,
Post your cabinet! I can take a look at it for you. Also, tell me what the name of the material is that keeps wanting to be updated.

Re: Version 5.2 build 1
Todd,
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
Here is the cabinet. I am thinking it is for all the cabinets that I have installed, because I used the same material for all of them.
The material name that I orginally used was 1/2"Ply_cabinext; which is 1/2" plywood.
However, ever since several others have come up such as 3/4", and other different things. The funny things is that I add it and it turns right around and ask to add again.
Thank you!

If I load up the cabinet it askes me to update the material. Then when I shut down Ecabs, and reopen, and load up the same cabinet. I does not ask me again. FYI
After loading the cabinet, try going into the Settings/preferences>Define Materials, and see if the material exists there. If not, the Material database is not updating correctly. Try creating the material again and add it to the list. Then shut down and reopen ecabs. Load the same cabinet, and see if it asked you to add the material again. If it does this would be a quick fix, If not let me know.
