How do you go about offering a design, but the Item on the piece can't be showed with eCabinet's system

Dan,

I was thinking about getting in the design sharing program and offering my mantel and top mantel design, and I don't know how to go about it sence the bottom part of the mantel has that crown offered by Enkeboll that I can't get to show on a drawing useing eCabinet.

I think subsituting it with a plain crown will take away from the design. So I was asking for some suggestions.

I think you should only place items in Design Sharing that can be completely designed in eCabinets and have the capability for all parts of the design to be machined on a Thermwood CNC.

So your saying with design sharing you aren't allowed to purchase any items

No, not at all. What I'm saying is that in keeping with the spirit of the program, everything should be able to be machined on a Thermwood CNC.

You definitely need to be able to display the design in eCabinets whether it uses purchased or machined components.

Keep in mind that not everyone would want exactly the same moldings on a project and would change them to suit their personal taste.

I was useing the first design for the top mantel . I like it a lot more .
I think the more ornate top mantel goes with the bottom.

Anyway that guy could only talk the talk , and when it came time to walk the walk..... he just kept walking and walking and walking away
