Hi,
Could someone suggest a quicker way to save components/parts, I have been using the part editor for profiling etc and then deleting the rest of the cabinet to save the profiled part to use again. Is it possible to save a part once it has been modified in the part editor without placing it directly back on the cabinet,
Many thanks,
Simon

To expand on John's question a bit, what type of Part Editor cuts are you wanting to save? If it is shapes (making a non-rectangular part, cutouts, etc), then right-click in Contour Mode and select "Create Edges." You can now save the geometry and use it on any part (see images below).
If you are referring to saving and edge profile, then no, you have to apply the profile manually to each part or save the part as you are doing.
Create your part using a Display Board or Display Panel then save the edited part as an assembly. You can then manually add this part to a cabinet, Associate it to the cabinet and save.
