Every machine that leaves the Thermwood facility is shipped with a packet containing the Restore CD which has on it the Control System Operating files, as the machine has been setup at the factory. If you have misplaced your CD, then you will need to contact Thermwood Service Dept. to have another CD sent out with the correct information on it. The Restore CD is machine specific.

We had a similar problem a couple of months ago and we couldn't find the Restore CD anywhere in our office. Come to find out it is shipped in the low voltage side of the CNC controller (ours was in a manila envelope).

Jon is partially correct. It is shipped in a manila envelope but not in the actual cabinet. When the machine was shiipped there were at least 2 boxes that came with it. One was marked "spare Parts" and the other "electronics". The manila envelope and the original harddrive are shipped in the electronics box together. Some times this envelope will be placed in the cabinet but usually it is taken and stored somewhere else. This envelope also includes the documentation for the hardware of the computer so it is often given to IT departments or stored in the shop manager"s office.
