Program Crashes with slanted walls

Hi Guys,

When I construct a room and then apply different heights to create a slanted wall and then go to save or go to the presentation screen the program
craches and I get this infromation from windows.

Any ideas? I just like to put as much detail in for the customer as possible.

Hey Bryan,
have you tried recreating the problem by drawing a simple room and adjusting the wall heights then saving?
Can you post the job file.
What are your system specs?

I tried all sorts of things. I can get the walls to slant down in one direction by starting with the wall height set at the highest point and slanting down.
In the attached job file you can see that i have succeeded in that, when I try to slant the 1m walls in the other direction however, it craches.

Here is my system

I didn't have any problems. I am guessing a Vista problem or a graphics card problem or a combination of both.

Let Rick take a look at it also, he may get different results than I did. I am just guessing at the cause. If it is a Vista problem It should be fixed with the release of Version 6.

Bryan, I will agree with Kerry, your rig is a little light duty for the amount of detail your trying to render. I also noticed what looks like a hole pattern floating above the base cabs.

The file I created to replicate the issue wont do it. So I haven't bothered uploading it. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, so when it happens again I will post the file. Thanks Rick

Bryan, I will agree with Kerry, your rig is a little light duty for the amount of detail your trying to render. I also noticed what looks like a hole pattern floating above the base cabs.

It could very well be my hardware, was due to upgrade but then ressession hit, so will just have to make do for now.
I hope V6 isn't heavier on the hardware stakes.

Bryan, V6 will still be using the Hoops OpenGL 3D engine, so your graphics card will still fall short. Sorry for the bad news.
