I'm trying to test a carving on a 10x10 piece of 5/8" material.
I downloaded an inset carving, installed it on my PC and on the TWD Controller machine.
I create code in Control Nesting (v5.48)
The code calls a subroutine, which is the inset carving file.
The beginning of the inset carving file has lots of variables, such as the tooling parameters, Z shift, wasteboard, etc. - when are those parameters supposed to be set?
I also tried to run the code for the carving itself just to see what would happen, but it is telling me I don't have any credits. I thought they were now free to download and run - ?
Any insight is appreciated!
Thanks,

Prior to using the inset carvings, you will need to be sure to first download & install the latest rental carving update which removes the need for credits. You can go to the following link for the update:
Click on the "Click here for Setup Info and Instructions" - Download the latest update.
Regarding the variable setup at beginning of NC program, this info will need to be setup prior to attempting to run program for it specifies tool calls material thicknesses etc....
The office PC shouldn't matter since you will not be running the actual CNC code on that PC. The update needs to be ran on the THM control which is actually going to used to run the CNC code to perform the carving.
