I am unable to get the part editor to respond in drawer box editor, and drawer box designer
Is anyone else having this problem?

There is something sketchy going on there Gary. If you single click on the part it doesn't give the cross hatch, but yet you can select the Part Editor and it takes you there.

Rick,
All I get is a green out line around the drawer box, then when I click the part editor icon I get this message

Rick,
That did it, clicking just once, but like you said there was no green hash marks, but it did let me go to the part editor. Now when I went back to the drawer editor the green hash marks were there.
Once again thanks

Yes, thats the result I get too. It seems like the firing order is mixed up.

Mine is working fine.
If I single click a part it gets hatching and will go to the part editor. If I double click I get a green outline and it selects the whole drawer. With the green outline I can still select a single part and get the hatching.

Gary,
There does seem to be a selection issue with the drawerbox when taking to the Part Editor. Seems if you double-click the box to select it, then try to single click a part, the cross hatch pattern does not appear. Even though it does not appear, it still allows you to take it to the part editor.
As a work around, press ESC a few times, then select the part with a single click, and then you can take it to the Part Editor.
I have listed this as an issue to be addressed.
Thanks.

Gary...
Try this and see if it works: Click once, wait a second or 2 then click again. On my machine the drawer part takes 2 single clicks to select.

Gary,
That did not work.
I click once then go to the part editor icon click it, then the green hash marks show up and it allows me to go to the part editor
If I double click to select the whole drawer I can not go to the part editor.
