Problem with Buy list

Post by Jamie Glenn »

My customers almost always request a buy list for their doors. I usually use the top tool bar, buy list option, to print it for them. This week using eCabinet's V6.0 build 2, I printed several buy lists for different customers, only to find out the information on them is incorrect. For instance, a drawer stack with a top drawer of 6" H and 2 bottom drawers 11-5/8" H, shows up on the buy list as a quantity of 3 drawers 6" H. I spoke to Joe Dusel about it and he told me I can use the new right hand tool drop down buy list now. I printed the lists. These new lists do not print the job name on them or which cabinet the doors or drawer fronts go to. Please add those features back in. The old buy list did have that information.

In addition, when I am in the cabinet editor, I can open the buy list from the top tool bar, however, that is the list with the incorrect information. When I open the buy list from the right drop down, there is no information displayed. So at this time, it appears the cabinet has to be placed in a batch or layout before I can look at the buy list.

Jamie,

As for the incorrect items in the old Buy List, this has been discovered and will be available in the next build.

As for your other request, I have listed to following:
1.) Add cabinet name and location to items in the Job Buy List
2.) Add Job Name in the title of the Job Buy List

This should help greatly in making this your main source for accurate information on a job.

Thanks for the post.
