Strange hard drive failure

I had my laptop hard drive fail on one section (I think). What happened next was the interesting part.

I had what looked like thermwood twd code pasted all over the screen and could not get rid of it. My IT guy is looking at the pc, but but he said he had never seen what I was doing before. Thats what has me thinking it thermwood fragments lost in space.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?
