I am have a problem with the color white coming out white in a rendering. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi guys
I found a trigger to cause this effect
To recreate this problem I take this corner unit into the door editor,
Highlight both doors.
Select the hole pattern for the hinge cup.
Select a new pattern.
Choose yes to accept to apply to selected doors.
When I return to the Main the colour changes.
(I had a little play with a base cabinet and it definitely seems to be the hinge cup pattern that causes it)
