Label Printing from CN

Perhaps I'm just not looking in the right place but is there a way to start printing labels at a given label? I had a moment and had to stop printing labels for about 15 sheets part way through. I ended up printing the whole job again because I couldn't figure out how to start in the middle.

Please enlighten me.

There is only one label file (30252_Address_SINGLESHEET.RPT) that allows you to print the labels for each sheet as it is cutting and it is only available in Control Nesting version 5.69 and higher. If you are not using this RPT file, then it will print all of them at once and there is no way to stop and restart it.

It is possible to print whichever labels you want. When you go to print the labels, change the printer and choose "print to screen." This will open a window where you can scroll through the labels. At the top of the window will be "page X of X", with one label per page. Scroll until you get to the label at which you want to start, and make note of its page number.

Reset the program to print to the printer instead of "print to screen." Go into the page setup (can't remember exactly what it's called, but it is one of the buttons here) and it will allow you to specify a starting page and ending page. This is where you put the page you made note of, and then of course you need to enter an ending page as well.

Without being at the machine, this is as detailed as I can remember, if you need more help let me know. Many expensive labels were wasted until I got this figured out!

You can also print the actual labels from a single-label printer (such as a Dymo like I have) if you specify the starting "page" and ending "page". If I have three CN printouts with 10 parts each, just count the parts on each sheet until you get to the number of the part you want and print starting at that page number. Each label is a "page".
