Fluted Panel and/or Arc

I've been having trouble finding information on this subject (not just fluted panels but putting a profile into a panel) and i havnt been able to figure out how to do this, or even profile an arc i created. If it isn't possible let me know so i'll stop wasting time breaking my head. I also tried creating a custom molding to solve this but had no success.
