Cabinets leaving a blue trail
I have installed the software on a new laptop running windows 8. All works well except when I click a cabinet from my library as I cross the canvas with it it leave a cian trail on the canvas until I place it on the wall, then the trail vanishes.
Could it be a Video Driver issue?
Any ideas?

Yes,
Go to the manufacturer's website for your video card and update the driver. There are no settings in eCabinet Systems for mouse trails.

Thanks. I'll have to get the lap top home but I'll update the drivers see if that fixes it.
Much appreciated.

Re: Cabinets leaving a blue trail
I've had this problem before, you may have to change acceleration settings to allow the program to decide the settings. Worked for me anyhow, didn't have to update any drivers. It could just be the video card too. Sometimes you have to adjust settings to change depending on what program you're running. I've ran into issues before where Autocad would work with a certain setting configuration but other cad programs wouldn't. You should be able to set it up so that the settings can change based on what program you're running.

Thanks Daniel but there are no such settings on Windows 8....all gone are the days of adjusting hardware acceleration.

Not sure if this would help,But Just out of curiosity what do you have Your settings for custom Lay out under Level of detail settings in settings and preferences set at. If it is set to high try setting it to low.

There are no settings in eCabinets.
It is important to get the driver's updated from the video card manufacturer's website, not Microsoft, Dell, HP or by the Geek Squad.
