Something odd about dimensions

What would cause this watch the 3-D distance and the X-distance It happens when the cabinet resizes every 1/16 " .This same thing happens when the cabinet is taken to line drawings. Also when the cabinet is resized in custom layout. The material for the ends is 23/32" Thick
