how to add to the hardware menu.

Hi all ,I'm having problems trying to get images to show up in my hardware file.
wood product items ,and images like a flat screen tv to put into my drawings to show clients
they used to be in the display object section. not sure what I'm doing wrong.
any advise would help. thanks

Were the files there before or are you trying to add new files?

I was trying to install new ones from suppliers like Osbornwood products.
