I've been trying to do these forever, the problem is I can't place the doors correctly and therefore the boring on the side doesn't appear.
Up to now I cut two different boxes and joint them together.
I make at least one of these a week, so any improving in speed would be welcomed.
Hi Gheral
You can do this with a single cabinet. Use a frameless upper and set the left and right ends and deck offsets to the overall depth that the cabinet needs to be these offsets will be a negative value. Then in shelf and partition editor add the fixed shelf. Now when in door editor add double doors. Then make the cuts on the ends in part editor and apply the constraints in constraints editor.
You should be able to use the cabinet you have and just add an inset to the doors when you place them. You will also need to add negative gaps to the doors to get your reveals set.
I was able to make the cabinet in the Pix that I posted without having to use a inset for the door I just made the cabinet depth for example 12 inches deep then applied a negative inset of the depth that the bottom section needed to be to the ends and deck I.e. -10 inches. Then added a fixed shelf and added double doors to the top opening. Then made the cuts and applied constraints to the cuts.
