I am attempting to install the "Manchester Collection" from the available free cabinet libraries. I download the .exe file to my desktop, installed it, opened up eCabinets and am unable to locate any of the cabinets to place in a room I am designing....?
I am guessing that this install will need updated. I would check in the OLD 5.2 install location for your machine. By default, that should be as follows:
C:\Program Files\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\Cabinets
I recently purchased a new computer so eCabinets 6.2 is a fresh install, and as you know the cabinets folder is not where it used to be -- in fact, I do not know where it is...
Regardless, when I am in eCabinets, I want to load files from the free Furniture Library that have been installed. So, not only do I not know where it has been installed, I am unable to load it into the program...
There is an issue with the Furniture Collection Libraries that we just found. It seems to be an install error. The programmers will be looking into this.
All of the Cabinet Libraries download and install in the correct location, so currently any of these can be used.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Well, actually, unable to install is more like it... I've just done a clean install of version 6.2 and downloaded the frameless and full dado face framed libraries and they won't install. Instead they get most of the ay thru and stop with the following error:
Product: eCab Frameless Library 001 Installer -- Error 1334.The file 'ATL80.dll.8.0.50727.762.97F81AF1_0E47_DC99_FF1F_C8B3B9A1E18E' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data1.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
I've tried this on a few other lbraries and get the same error...
