Has anyone been able to use the shelf hole settings editor to create a single row of shelf pin hole in for the back edge of long shelves?
I have read the help section and tried various combinations to accomplish this but the software sems to be smarter than I am. Any help would be appreciated. My old method was to take the back panel into the part editor and apply the holes from an imported CAD drawing. Hoping for a short cut but all I have been able to do is but shelf pin holes on either end of the shelf , along the shelf's back edge.
Hi Tim, have a look at the attached cabinet. If I understand correctly, this is what you're after.
Check the shelf settings for this and you will see how it's done. The "magic" is making sure the Single Row Option Maximum Edge Length is greater than the width of the shelf.
Seems I'm not able to open the file. I've copied the downloaded file to my Ecab shared documents cabinet folder and tried loading it in to cab editor but it kicks up errors. Tried opening it with Ecabs directly from download but I get invalid file type error.
Not sure why it's bucking. I'll keep trying it.
Whoops, sorry. You won't be able to open it, mine was saved with the beta version. Anyway, all you really need to know is to set Single Row Option Maximum Edge Length to greater than the length of your shelf, and it will work.
