Trying to modify a hutch lower section from 24" deep to 18" deep and cabinet editor tells me it results in an unworkable mid stile
I cant seem to edit anything (the top or the inset of the top rail) without it having the same error
tried to upload the cabinet but its to big
Also I keep having to add the same material over and over, is anyone else having this problem??

Uploading the cabinet shouldn't be a problem. It's possible a cabinet part is corrupt.
If you have applied any constraints on parts that might stop it from resizing properly. If you have a part editor cuts that could corrupt the cabinet. If there are part editor cuts remove them and then re-size the cabinet and reapply the cuts.
