Sliding dovetails

I don't know if this is even possible or not. Has anyone tried cutting sliding dovetails?

Yes, we have, cut sliding dove tails, into solid wood counter tops, to hold flat.

I milled a pocket 3/4 deep, then inlined with a dovetail tool, I drew the dovetail tool. to determine my offsets. i started the cut off the material and then cut the, two long sides and the end. then I took some flat stock and outlined it. there again using my cross section to determine the offset.
I use Aspire for all my custom millwork
