We have that black little controller with a the pause button.
When we press it, it gently pauses the cutting and comes up with a menu.
Like replace tool, resume sheet from start,. (I am in the middle of cutting a job so I cant pull up the screen to check all the options)
It seems to work fine when you nest a job and start cutting. But on certain occasions like if I load a job or resume a job after shutting down the machine and reloading it, that button doesn't seem to work the same way. It will gently stop the machine but the the only option to select is resume.
I know if you start in CNC view after nesting and go to the top menu select View, Application view, then select, Nested based view it will bring up the menu with the options, but it doesn't seem to work with loaded jobs from the menu.
I am wondering if any one else has noticed this and is there a way around it?
And also is there a keyboard shortcut that I haven't found that does the same thing as the black WiFi controller? like f9 or Alt something?
Thanking you
Mark
Ps, I also think the option to increase the fly-cutting amount option is also not available.

Re: Resuming after pausing question
Mark,
Lightly confused on some of your question, so I'll lay out how it is supposed to function.
The options for replace tool, start sheet over, etc is only available from Nested Base View. If you nest, write CNC from standard view you'll only ever get resume and OK. Depending on your THM version, you may need to update to get the functionality that a loaded Control Nesting job would allow the menu options to display. I believe this was in THM version 11.3.4. It must also be a .mdb file, this is set in Control Nesting under File, CNC File Path Settings. Your machine is probably set for it already, this is what allows you to be able to print labels and sheet images on a loaded Control Nesting file.
Please remember, your internet doesn't behave well so download the update from our website, then run the downloaded update.
There is not built in pause "button" on the machine. The pause is the wireless fob and the black box inside the cabinet that receives the button push from the fob. When it receives the signal from the button push, the black box sends that signal to the input board. If you wanted to mimic something at the machine you could wire a physical momentary button on the machine to signal the input board.

I don't quite understand what you mean by this as I thought we could only nest from control nesting, but as I said I will try to pay closer attention and If I'm still confused, I'll report back.If you nest, write CNC from standard view
Thanks
Mark

Mark,
Sorry, missed a comma in there.
If you nest, write CNC, from standard view you'll only ever get resume and OK.

Commas are the difference between "Let's eat, Grandma!" and "Let's eat Grandma!"
