I am having trouble designing a 3/4" MDF shaker door with a 3/8" MDF center panel. A simple version of this door is attached.
I would like to add a chamfer profile to the inside and outside (front and back) of the door frame. Adding the profiles is no problem but resizing the door seems to break things. I have successfully added only the inside profile to the front and been able to resize the door no problem.
I am assuming the issue is having two profiles land on the same outside geometry on the front and back? Does anyone have any insight or tips on this?

Re: Issues designing two piece MDF door
John,
Something happened to this part along the way. We aren't entirely sure what, but we do know that there is data mismatch regarding the profile sweeps. If you remove the profiles and the pocket cut, then reapply everything, it should work as expected. Essentially part of the data says there is no profile, part of the data is saying there is. When the next profile is applied it becomes the "first" profile, and the original one is erased. Wiping and starting fresh should get you fixed up for now.

Re: Issues designing two piece MDF door
That seems to get me there if I add pockets and constrain before I apply the profiles. Once I add any profiles to the door I'm not able to return to Part Editor or Constraint Manager, otherwise I get an error that the part would be split into two bodies. I can't think of a situation where this would be a problem at this point though.
On a separate note, if I add an additional profile on the back of the back of the door to highlight the seam between the center panel and the frame of the door, it breaks the door. Both profiles on the back are deleted when I resize. This is not something I have to have but it would be nice if I could get it to work out.
Thanks for your help.
