reference of drawer slides

Post by xan can »

Hey all,
Can we make a request to reference the drawer slides off of the drawer front instead of the cabinet box? This would help the automation of attaching drawer fronts to slides such as legrabox or other double walled steel drawers

Hi Xan.

I think this is what you want.
If you make a hole pattern like in the screen shot and save it for your drawer runner pattern.
The holes on the left of the red dotted line get applied to the drawer fronts and the holes on the right of the red dotted line are applied to the cabinet sides.
When you insert the drawers in the cabinet drawer door editor they automatically get applied.

With some soft close drawer brackets, its sometimes hard to tell which is the top of the drawer front when fitting the front brackets, so we added an extra dot to the pattern just to indicate up. saves us a lot of mixups.

Hope this helps
