Dimensioning drawaer box parts

Post by Donald Thomson »

When setting the "Drawer Box Height" in the drawer box design for this cabinet, What part of the drawer box does eCabs use to determine the height? I've got the box designed the way I want it. But when I add the box to a cabinet, Either the side width is ignored or the top of the front and back of the box is ignored. I'd like the sides to remain at 2" and the front and back to be 23.5" high. Can I use the "Top" inset in the constructions settings to se how much taller the front and back are compared to the sides?

I'm struggling to figure out which parameters govern the size of the box I need to make? Very frustrating.....

Donald,

Because we can't use formulas in the drawer box editor, it will be difficult to do what you want. It just doesn't have the capabilities and you will probably have to change some of the box parameters each time you change dimensions of the box. Build these as a cabinet and add them as a batch item.
