Forum response TERRIBLY SLOW

I noticed that when I click on anything in the forum, the response to that click is VERY slow. If I do a page refresh it takes up to 30 seconds for the page to refresh. When I clicked New Topic to make this post, it took 30 seconds to get to this point so I could write the post.

Has there been an "upgrade" to the forum software causing this slow response? All my other webpages are lightning fast as I have fiber connection (300mbs) to the internet.

I have been working on this issue for some time. I have the board running much better now by removing and limiting what a BOT can attempt to access.

At one point, I noticed 27 different BOTs attempting to download information from the board. You would think that if a BOT gets the message to register for access, that it would simply give up. What I found is that the BOT will register at attempt access, and then try again, and again, and again, slowing the system down for everyone.

Frustrating for everyone to say the least. Monitoring the server, currently it is staying below 40% spikes. When the system was really slowing down, it would hold at 100% with many processes in queue waiting their turn to access the board.
