I have been using the ZoneAlarm AV for the past year and it's a resource hog. I have decided to practice unsafe hex - I disabled the AV. I'm still running the firewall and the spyware blocker. I feel safe enough without the AV slowing down my computer.
I'm beginning to think that the AV programs are more trouble than they are worth.
