Re:
What settings are you speaking of? All of the add drawer box settings are showing up in the cabinet you posted and all of the construction settings are present in the drawer box when viewed in the drawer box editor. Are you refering to a setting on the machine?? Can you email me the twd file that you used to create this job with errors along with your export file and the actual nc code so I can look at that too?? Email these files to program@thermwood.com and I'll start looking at them right away.Damon Nabors wrote:Ryan, the drawer bottom extends past the drawer back maybe 1/8" , but not the full thickness of the 1/2" drawer back. I pulled the cabinet out of the room into the cabinet editor to look at the settings, but I do not see them anymore. I originally set up the settings per the control nesting hand book using the supplied thermwood cutter as specified in the book.
Should I be able to go back and look at the setting later? Because like I said, they are not there now. I made one cabinet to use with the drawer box's and then changed the size of that one cabinet to make the rest of the cabinets with drawers. Is it possible that when it was changing size that something got out of wack???????
Thanks

I don't know why I didn't catch it at first. We had a stack of drawer parts and just started asymbling them in no particular order, but After looking closer at them, The problem is not the drawer bottom, I just assumed the drawer bottoms was the problem because all three drawer bottoms where the same size. The problem is the drawer sides. The top drawer is not as deep as the lower two drawers. Now how can that be, You have the cabinet in the drawer/door editor and click the opening and click add drawer. Go down to the next hole and repeat. Wouldn't it be safe to assume (I Know never Assume Ass-U-Me) that all the drawers would be the same, and even if the drawer where different depths, the drawer bottoms should change with the drawer sides.
When entering a drawer box into cabinet opening, you are given choice to enter Height of drawer box, however, if the opening does not allow the height you entered (due to other settings, reveal etc...) ecab will automatically resize the box to fit. This could be what your seeing.
Note: A good way to check and see what size panels and various parts will be cut, is to take your cabinet or assembly into the LINE DRAWING editor and analyze using the dimension features. Example: to check height of drawer boxes, you can take your cabinet to Line Drawing Editor, rotate cabine 90 deg. to side veiw, Hide side panel to expose interior parts (drawer boxes), then expand cabinet if need be for easier viewing and use the dimensioning feature to measure drawer box features.
I hope this information has been helpful.
