Well its good someone is like me and will go to a lot of trouble with no certainity of getting the job.
The trouble is finding the cutoff point. The point that you do more hours on the project than you can afford without being paid for it.
Up to recently I wasn't too concerned I just would work back at night to even the score but lately I have been paying someone to help me with the workload. Paying someone to do a free job brings you into reality mode.
You are right about the guesstimate as people don't see that when your correct price is $1500 higher

When Ecabinets have tighened up the costing that will be great. That way the guesstimate will be closer to the mark and we might be able to get away with that more often.
