Re: Moldings and measuring
I guess I gotta put another check in the column of why I dislike assemblies. I guess they have a good point in doing it. Just in case of weird situations. I guess the best thing to do is just make it 2 separate cabinets and stack them. No biggee though. I already have the nest printed out and half the plywood cut up. It was just bugging me. Thanks.

Re: Moldings and measuring
Leo,
I wrote a reply to this, but it appears that it went into hyperspace as you must've hit "submit" at the same time. Maybe, it'll show up later.
Anyways, Kerry is correct about assemblies. The measurement of an assembly includes the entire object, not just the carcase.
Dan, had a point though. Install a cabinet or an assembly of cabinets with the molding uninstalled. Then under Adjust Cabinet Features, edit the Cabinet or Assembly and install the molding. Timewise, it's about the same, you are just swapping the sequence that you install the molding. By editing the cabinet or assembly from the Custom Layout, you don't have to place the molding piece-by-piece, which at best would do what you want, but can be a struggle.
BTW. An assembly has to be the easiest way to place stacked upper cabinets. You could install them one-at-a-time and them around in freestyle, but I think that you'd end up with more work and potential for error. The error factor may not be crucial depending upon the layout.
Later,
Dennis
