I'm doing some work in a dental office, I need to draw and build some cabinets that will align back to back as part of an assembly
I'm not getting anywhere in the aligning prosess in cabinet editor. Could not find an answer in F/Q .

Anthony,
Load both cabinets that you want to align into the cabinet editor.
Double click both cabinets, you will see a green outline on all the parts (not a green hatch pattern)
Select the node you want to align to
then select the node you want to move to the alignment node
then press enter
select 'align to zero'
It's not very intuitive but it works.

You may also need to rotate the cabinets prior to aligning, just double click the cabinet you want to rotate
click on the 'rotate cabinet' icon and rotate as desired
you can then move it around (select cabinet you want to move first) then hold control and the right mouse button to move the cabinet
Hope this helps

After you align the cabinets you will need to save them as an assembly then you can put the unit in as a whole cabinet instead of 2 cabinets and have to deal with getting them aligned in the room editor
