It's been a long time since I've used this program. I've been keeping up with the downloads, just never getting a chance to use them.
Long story short, what happened with the lighting? Can't I set the intensity on individual lights any more?? I set my lights in the overhead view associated them to the wall, right clicked and nothing. Yeah the light highlights, but I can't set the intensity. So I went to the render section. I thought I would find a way to do it there. There is only a slider for all of the lights??? Am I doing something wrong or were there some big changes made in the newer version builds?

Re: Question about lighting in V6
Render a presentation view with the lights present then right click on a light and choose to Adjust light intensity or you can choose Use Dialog settings if you want to use the slider.
Re-render the view

Re: Question about lighting in V6
Hi Kerry
That's how I thought it was supposed to work. I just tried it and it works today, maybe I was trying to set them before I rendered the picture.
While we are talking lights; how do I get under the cabinet lighting?? I've moved these lights all over the place and I can't seem to get the effect I'm looking for. The customer wants lights hidden inside a false cabinet over the sink. She also would like some under the cabinet lighting on an area that presently kind of dark.

Re: Question about lighting in V6
George,
Use the down lights and move them over your cabinet then associate the light to the wall, go to elevation view and move the light down through the cabinet until it is exposed below. You must be able to see the light to right click on it and adjust. Hide the light fixtures before you do a final presentation view.

Re: Question about lighting in V6
Thanks Kerry
Worked great, now I just have to hit the right amount of light intensity and I should be all set.
