"Apply to Cabinet" does not change Drawer Slide Pattern
In the default section to the right of the CE window I have been successful in changing the KD/RTA hole patterns as I apply it to a selected part or the whole cabinet. However I have been unable to do this with drawer slides. I have tried unsuccessfully multiple times with different cabinets and it has not worked. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks,
-John

Hi John,
Do you have the drawer fronts selected when you apply the pattern? If not it will only change the default, and will not affect already placed drawers.

Josh, I am specifically working with drawer boxes added in the DB editor. I haven't tried it with drawers added in the D/Dwr editor. I'll give that a try,

Yep, sorry - you should be able to make that one work if you select the drawer box also - but I'll have to try that to make sure....

Re: "Apply to Cabinet" does not change Drawer Slide Pattern
Hey Josh! I just tried the a cabinet that has a drawer that was added in the D/DE and a drawer added in the DBE. The hole pattern for the drawer that was added with a face in the DDE worked when I applied the change to the whole cabinet, but the hole pattern for the drawer added inthe DBE didn't work.
Are you finding the same results?

John, are you changing the default "drawer slide" pattern AND the "dbx slide" pattern? They are separate...Works fine for me.

Re: "Apply to Cabinet" does not change Drawer Slide Pattern
Hey Josh,
Here is the cabinet that I am using. BTW this has happened on a few different cabinets as well.
I went in and changed the default in the DBE and also the DDE to the same hole pattern that I want to change the current too. Then I changed the hole pattern in the CE and applied it to the cabinet and only the DB with a face changed. The 2 pull out drawers added in the DBE stayed the same. Note the screen shot.
Can you check out this cabinet and see if you get the same results?
Thanks Josh!

Re: "Apply to Cabinet" does not change Drawer Slide Pattern
John,
It works fine for me with your cabinet.
Here's what I did:
(with nothing selected)
First went to the item window and clicked on "drawer slides"
With the little arrow pull-down, select EDIT and choose the new pattern.
Double arrow twisty looking pull down thingie at the top, apply to cabinet.
This only affected the drawers which were added in the door and drawer editor. (the top drawer only)
Next I went to the item window and clicked on "dbx slides" and repeated the process.
Once I click "Apply to cabinet" I have a new pattern for the drawer boxes that were added in the drawer box editor. (the bottom drawers)

Re: "Apply to Cabinet" does not change Drawer Slide Pattern
Hi Josh! Thanks for taking a look at this. I see what the problem is. I was trying to change the dbx slides by changing the drawer slides. I didn't realize that there was a difference between the drawer and drawer box defaults
.
Thanks again!
