partition
I am using a standard base frameless corner cabinet, that has one side extended 3 feet, I want a partition in the extended part, but it will not comply, I have also tried a stretcher, but it also will not work. Is there a way around this or am I hooped?

Re: partition
Hi Anthony
You can do this using a stretcher. Although if you wish to have a shelf you will have to play with the insets as the program will not recognize the stretcher and automatically adjust the shelf.
In Cabinet editor load the standard frameless base corner
In stretcher editor click on the right front toe and the right back.
Click on add stretcher. Set the grain direction to 90.Click ok
Highlight the stretcher and select adjust stretcher.
Click on advanced
Set Inset 1 to the top bottom side
Set inset 2 to the deck top side
set inset 5 to the left back right side
set inset 6 to the right end left side
Click ok
Set inset 1 to 0 and check lock
set inset 2 to 0 and check lock
set inset 3 to -5 3/4 and check lock. This is the toe kick inset plus the thickness of the front toe
set inset 4 to 0 and check lock
set inset 6 to 5 and check lock. I used 5 you can set this to the opening width you want
click done
return to main
Note: When I drew this cabinet in V 12 Beta and changed the right back from 36 to 42 inset 1 was changed from 0 to -4 1/4
I don’t know if this is just in the beta or not. So I would make sure the cabinet is sized the way you want it before adding the stretcher.
