Repetitive graining in renderings

The repetitive graining in renderings is very distracting. Is there some way to subdue it? On parts you can choose how many rows and columns. On doors and drawer fronts you can't. Or is there a way?

Not sure I understand what you are trying to do here, do you have that big or many doors that its looking bad?? can you select a different grain of the wood??

There's no way to change the "tile" size for the woodgrain image on the doors that I'm aware of. Best fix is to use a different wood image, one with a grain pattern that won't be as noticeably repetitive. Straighter grains obviously work better than the sort of curly, swooping grains of the default Hard Maple image.

That's what I use, hard maple. Most of my kitchens lately have been white. But white just fades into nothingness, no details, things get washed out.

I do alot of White lacquer work and I ended up using the hard maple whiteivory40sheen for all my White renderings, seems to work and the customers like the presentation.

Looks better then just plain white. There is still fading in the upper section of the door. Much better then most of the panel being washed out like mine though.
