tool measuring issues

this is really strange i measure all my tools but on the last one when it was doing the medium loop it raised the machine up till it was out of envelope.
any suggestions? can i just add a negative to the z value in line 87?

Tom,

Tool sensor is likely dirty or corroded. The machine moves down until the input for the tool sensor is unchecked, then retracts up until it is made. In this case, the input is already unmade so the machine just starts retracting up to make the input. You can try cycling the sensor up and down while blowing with compressed air to see if there is debris trapped in there. If not, you'll need to take apart the sensor to clean the debris or clean off the rust buildup. You can check the input/output screen to verify the input for the tool sensor. Without it being depressed the input should be checked. Once you press it down it should uncheck.
