Hi Everybody
I have a question:
Can I control that the CNC is always start cutting along the X-Axes? We are cutting a lot of White Oak and the cutting would be cleaner if the CNC would start always the same direction like the Wood.
Thanks!
Always start cutting along X-Axes possible?

Re: Always start cutting along X-Axes possible?
Ian,
Control Nesting typically picks the longest edge to start the cut on so it would depend on how the part is dimensioned. With layered DXFs you can choose the entity to start on, or a point along an entity to start on.
Does it cut cleanly when it makes the cross cut, but not on the initial plunge in and ramp down?
