We had some trouble with tool changing, in the middle of change the machine would loos pressure, but ther would be plenty in the pipes so i incrised pressure at the regulators for about 2-3 psi's and now it works fine!!! Will this cause a big problem for the machine?
Hello Nemanja,
We typically recommend 90 to 100 psi at the main. If you are not using any aggregate tools then you can turn it up some and it should not affect the machine. You may want to check the small gauge that is marked for 58 psi for the tool release. This gauge reads 0 until the tool is released and then it jumps up to 58. If you turn the main up you may have to adjust this back down to 58 psi. If you have any questions or run into any problems, please call us here at Thermwood.
2 pounds isn't going to hurt anything. If you have any more trouble with the tool changer, instead of raising it higher than 60 psi, open up the in-line flow control valve. It is located right as the air line leaves the gauge.
