Line Drawing Editor printing problem
I loaded a cabinet into the LDE that is 8 feet sq. and when I try to print it only show a portion of the cabinet. Is there any way to make the whole cabinet print. Thanks
Tony,
You might try zooming in on the cabinet or assembly you are trying to print. Then look at the print preview to verify that everything is correct. If you would like to post the job file, I would be happy to take a look at it for you. Thanks!

The cabinet is just large for the page. As Todd suggested, you must zoom out, to make the cabinet smaller on the page - and to do THAT, I suggest the following:
1. Just above the page number in LDE, select the Cab tab. This allows you to select ONLY the cabinet you will be printing.
2. Click ONCE on the cabinet you just took to the LDE. Clicking on it will turn its lines to green.
3. Now, press down the CTRL key and at the same time, clicking on BOTH let and right mouse buttons, push away from you to ZOOM OUT, i.e., make the cabinet smaller relative to the page.
4. Adjust size until you like it relative to the page, and to allow sufficient space for your dimensions.
5. That's it!!!
NOTE: Before you add any dimensions, you can rotate the cabinet on the page, and THEN do your dimensioning in 3D. This can be done while the cabinet is still selected AND highlighted green - simply press the SHIFT key AND the left button on the mouse, and move the mouse to rotate the cabinet. To restore the cabinet to the default view, right-click anywhere on the page, and select Reset View. NEAT!
One suggestion: While in the LDE, or within ANY part of eCabs, simply press F1 to bring up the Help system in the context you currently are. In my case, it brought up the Help page for the Area Overview – Line Drawing Editor - Main Page.
Stay with the program, as it IS the BEST there is, plain and simple

Good luck, and let us know if this helped some. Enjoy!
