Problem with thermwood bug

Post by DanFecteau »

My thermwood stops very often since a couple weeks, it seems to be more frequent in the morning ?? The message I get is \"Air pressure low, VSD faulted\", I'd like to fix that as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Hey Dan,

Does the machine come back out of stop or do you have to shut the control down and power back up? If you have to power down then chances are the variable speed drive is tripping out and we will need to see what error is showing up on it. If it comes right back out of stop it could be the air pressure sensor. Air could be dropping below 80 psi momentarily or the sensor itself could be going bad. There are not many things that cause this error so it should be easy to track down. The next time it does it give us a call here at Thermwood and we can work on it in realtime and get the issue resolved. Our number here is 1-800-221-3865 Thanks Dan.
