Part Editor cuts

Post by Ron Shultz »

I am using a cube as a tub deck with a number of Part Editor cuts in it. I am trying to make a cutout for the tub now and have the preliminary cutout done but when I take it back into Part Editor I it does not show any of the cuts that I have done on it already and if I do anything to it I lose what I done to it earlier.

I am uploading the file. I appreciate any help.

Hey ron, Ive ran into simular problems and what I ended up doing was just to calculate all of my cuts prior to taking the cube to the editor and creating them all at one time.Iknow that don't help much but maybe one of the thermwood guys will have a better solution. Mark

Ron,

Create your cube in the Cabinet/Assembly editor and save it as an assembly to place in the room. This will let you pull it from the room as an assembly and make more cuts.

Thanks for the help. Making it an assembly took care of that problem.
