Ordering Drawers Thru eCabs Store

Post by Steve Williams »

Hello All

I am in the process of setting up a seed base.
I would like to order my drawer box thru ecabs as I do the doors and drawer fronts.
How do I make this a purchaseable item as opposed to something that exists on my cutlist?
Can ecabs do this?

Also, I use Tandem sildes with Blumotion a lot. The slides have very specific insets, which I entered when I set up my default drawer box.
If I resize the cabinet that the drawer sits in will the integrity of the insets be kept and the drawer box size itelf altered to fit the new opening?

Thanks

Hi Steve,
I dont think there is any auto drawer ordering like doors, but I am sure I could be wrong, we cut our own on the router so have not kept up with any of that. Yes, your drawers will resize with the cabinet, make sure you have your insets correct and they will remain with the cabinet until you change them.

I am not sure where you are at, but I am sure if the drawers are not available through the program, myself or any of the other guys would be glad to cut them for you and ship them in a box ready for your assembly. I personally use a 5/8" baltic birch dovetail drawer with a 1/2 prefinished bottom that you insert after the drawer has been assembled, sanded and sprayed, no notching for the slide needed. Every one seems to love them.
