These instructions are
to be used if your machine is using Windows 2000 or XP software:
1.) Save the attached file {MachineFileCollector.exe}
to a known location on your computers hard drive.
2.) Copy this file to any type of removable storage device such
as a pen or flash drive. A network path may also be used if desired.
To use the MachineFileCollector.exe
at the machine(s):
(NOTE: This Program may require a shutdown of the Thermwood software.)
1.) Take the program to the machine.
2.) Shell to the "Windows Explorer" by pressing the “Ctrl”, “Alt” and “E” or “Windows” and “E” keys
at the same time. This will bring up a Windows file explorer window.
3.) Select the drive that contains the utility program. High-light
the program and press “Enter” or double click to run
the program.
4.) Follow the instructions on the screen. A restart of the machine
may be necessary.
5.) When all goes well, the program will exit and give you instructions
on what to do next. To return to the Thermwood software, press “Ctrl”, “Alt” and “T” or
select it from the desktop. If problems were encountered, the program
will suggest ways of solving them or you may call Thermwood Corporation
for further assistance.
If you have multiple machines on the program,
please repeat this process on each machine. A new file name will
be created for each machine that this is used on.
