Hey Mark, (64)
If you are using Vortex bits you should have them sharpen them. They include a label in the box when you get them. I do not sharpen mine (yet) so I do not have to worry about cutter compensation (yet). It just allows me to have piece of mind so my Operator does not have check the bit ...

Hey Thom,
Have you solved this yet? If not I had the same issue with a long running tool. I use a 1/2\" PCD all day long and sometimes for days. It gets hot even though I have a good chip load. If it is a type writer type ATC then you may need to adjust the air pressure. Tech support can walk you ...

Hey Geo, (178)
Be very careful who's toes you step on especially when they (the toes and everything that is connected to them) could most likely be bigger than your's (toes), well at least 86 % of the time  .
If you look at Volume 1, #2 there are several \"Yankees\" on the cover, so it would ...

Is anyone using the Dual table, Dual head on Control nesting
(Sorry if this seems like a dual post but had no replies in Ecab forum so I am trying here)
Just wondering if anyone is using the Dual table or Dual head option on Control nesting with an Ecab job or DXF files. I am in the process of upgrading our C42 to have an ATC plate on the back of each table ...

Is anyone using a Dual table/Dual head with Control Nesting
Just wondering if anyone is using the Dual table or Dual head option on Control nesting with an Ecab job. I am in the process of upgrading our C42 to have an ATC plate on the back of each table so we can have 4 tools per head with 2 drills per head also. Our tables are 5 x 5 and we usually run them ...

Okay Dan here is my understanding. Since there is no \"w\" in the Polish language it would actually be pronounced Ko-voll-chek in Polish or Ko-wall-zick in English. You would not believe how many people get the case of the stutters when they try to pronounce my last name when they read it.
Here are ...

Sounds like the difference of a few hundred miles - my great grandparents came from western Ukraine, and I'll bet his came from central Poland; or the person at Ellis Island didn't get their coffee that morning. It is amazing the small variations on these names. BTW, Kowalchuck translates to ...

Hey George,
I think you might be missing something very important from your pictures. Don't forget the Controller Cabinet. I'm sure that the layout is a work in progress but without the \"CNC Electrical Brains\" it doesn't make wood chips/dust, it just collects dust. Hope you get to plug yours in ...

Would a job report generator benefit you?
To all Thermwood CNC Owners, Managers, and et al,
I asked Jason about having a report generator added to the CNC controller as an \"F\" key or a pull down menu function and he said it can be done and has been for a few special requests but I think it would benefit all of us. Whether we are a 1 man ...

Ken,
Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to hear it is still possible. After seeing the video, my jaw dropped and I said WOW! That would make it SO MUCH more cost effective to run parts on it, for me at least, so that the time the CNC's are running we are getting the optimum hourly rate and producing ...
