Re: Nesting a large number of small pieces

Mark,

For parts like this, I would try to change the setting under Action from True Shape, to Cut Line. I'm going to guess that will get it nesting better.

Re: Manual nesting offals

Tommy,

I can get it to do it as well with my settings. I'll pass it along to the software engineers to have a look at. Thanks for the heads up.

Mark,

I see the same thing here. I'll pass the issue on to the software engineers.

Re: Program Timer Idea

Tommy, I assume you are currently using the Program Time Estimator to get the expected run time. Provided you are able to use that, and are on Control Nesting version 6.12 or higher, in Print Settings, at the bottom check the box for CNC Nest Report. That will give you the information your are looki...

Re: Adjustable Shelf Holes

Chris, Make sure if you are using Groups in Control Nesting that the 5mm tool is set up in that Group. You may be expecting it in a specific Group, but it is actually in another without that tool. If you are on verision 6.12 or newer in Control Nesting, with that material nested, you should be able ...

Re: Bottom of parts chipping

I'd guess that short ramp length is giving you some issues. Lengthen it out like Dave suggests and see what that does for you.

Re: Cabinets not showing in Scaled Print

Am in Elevation / Wall View. When I choose to go to Scaled Print , only the wall with dimensions is showing. There are no cabinets on the wall ( but the dimensions of the cabinets are there ) Had done a search in the forums and saw other people had same issues . How was it resolved ? Can you post t...

Re: What is wrong with this cabinet?

The only difference between the BEFORE and AFTER cabinets is the fact that the AFTER cabinet was placed in a room and saved. I then closed the room, re-opened the room and took the cabinet to the cabinet editor. I have several of these cabinets with split backs and decks in my library and the all b...

Re: Cant Select or Delete Shelf

Bump......this is happening on alot of cabinets. Troy, It looks as though the section information for the cabinet is corrupted. Can you either email one of your seed cabinets, or post one so I can take a look at it? If it is in the seed, you'll need to recreate at the seed. If it isn't in the seed,...

Re: Cabinet Numbers

Anthony,

I'm going to go with the assumption this is a Custom Layout job? If so, you cannot. The cabinets are numbered as they are placed in the room, if a cabinet is removed from the order, the other cabinets are renumbered sequentially.

Re: Cut Quality Issue with Thermwood 90 and Mastercam

Alex,

Can you email the CNC code and a zip2go from Mastercam to program@thermwood.com? We can have a few more eyes take a look at it then and see what is going on.

Re: Profile modeler

Dan, If you have that profile in a CAD software, you are part of the way there. For eCabinets you'll need that profile to create a tool that will be "pushed" through the part in Part Editor. You can export the profile as a DXF and load it into Shape Manager to create the tool. The accuracy...
