Re: Crash in line drawing

Tom,

It looks as though its an issue with a font being brought in when the fonts dialog is trying to open. The font in question is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax\Home & Business 2017\32bit\local\fuego\host\fonts\Avenir\AvenirLT-Light.ttf. I would try renaming the .ttf file, adding org ...

Re: Crash in line drawing

Tom,

Does the software give you the option to send in a crash report? If it doesn't go to Settings/Preferences and make sure the box for Disable Crash Reporting is unchecked . Then get it to crash again and see if the dialog comes up to send a crash report. If it does, and you send one in, note the ...

Re: User Defined Operations

Kerry,

If you have access to the training videos, you can find the same videos that were in the beta forum under the What's New section for version 6.2.2.

Re: Head out of alignment

Marcel,

Everyone has their own idea of what "tight enough" is for a bolt. In the case of those four large bolts, the aluminum plate the bolts thread into has steel threaded inserts in it so you can go fairly tight on them.

It would be worth though the next time you need to re-tram the head, take ...

Re: Presentation view not working

Audrey,

Glad to hear it is working. I generally check on a monthly basis for graphics card updates. Always check directly on the manufacturer's site, not through Windows.

Re: Presentation view not working

Audrey,

Looks like they released a new driver version yesterday. Possibly before as it seems you are a few numbers behind. Latest version is 418.81. Link to download the latest https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/142227/en-us. Give that a try and let me know. There may be some ...

Re: Presentation view not working

Windows 10 64 bit

Graphic card
NVIDIA
version 388.57
GeForce 949M

Are you sure it is a GeForce 949M? I can't find that one listed on NVIDIA's site. They show a 945M and a 940M.

Clint, how could I install the previous version of eCabinet? See if it solve my problem. I think I haven't done any ...

Re: Presentation view not working

Audrey,

What is the model of your graphics card and the currently installed driver version? Also what version of Windows are you running? And 64 or 32 bit?

Re: Presentation view not working

Audrey,

Verify the below settings are set correctly:

- In Settings/Preferences, make sure Level of Detail Settings for Custom Layout is set to Max
- When in the main view of Render, on the left choose Presentation Settings. Make sure the bullet is set to Full Render, and Pull Detail is set to Max ...

Re: Tooling of part editor cuts

A little correction on Forrest's wording, and for clarification for others.

Control Nesting does not look for the "best" tool to do the job. Pocketing tools are sorted from largest to smallest and applied from largest to smallest. Everything else is by operation number. If Operation 1 is capable ...

Re: Presentation view not working

Audrey,

At what point are you at? Does the render generate, just not look as nice? Or does the software stop when rendering?

Re: Machining single side material

Single sided material always gets outline cuts done with A side up. So if you have a pocket or a drill on the B side, there will be a flip operation. The dialog will tell you to load BACK side up. This is referring to the B side of the material. The A and B sides of the material can be set in ...

Re: Global Item Modification

Leo,

Do you need to display the color for renders or at all times in the layout? If it is just in render, when you choose Render, you can right click and choose Modify Textures. There you can change the display texture of materials, walls, floors, etc without changing the material itself. May be of ...

Re: Global Item Modification

Leo,

It seems to work on assemblies in the Cabinet Editor as you can pick individual pieces or all of the pieces of the assembly. I'm not certain though why it doesn't work from Custom Layout. I'll have to speak with the software engineers if there is a reason why it doesn't, or if it is a bug. I ...

Re: Board stock getting cut off in Part Editor

Leo,

I see the same thing. I'll pass it along to the software engineers and go from there. It seems as though it is still there, but being rotated and cut away. You can use the Delete tool and choose Geometry Cut. The area that has been removed will show so you can bring it back. It still gets kind ...
