Just want to give a shout-out to Mike in support.
Although it cost me $1,200 for a new Seimens spindle control module, I had minimal downtime. Mike diagnosed the problem quickly, overnighted the new part, I was guided through installing the new controller this morning (thanks Carl). Total downtime was less than 4 hours.
