2 finger typists

My wife(who averages 80 WPM) constantly laughs at my 2 finger typing, mistakes in spelling,(see Thoms birthday post) and how long it takes me to compile a basic email (or post for that matter on the forums)
So I've gotton myself a programme by Mavis Beacon to teach myself to type.
Told her if I can't do 50WPM in 3 months I have to do all the cooking for 3 months!
How many of you can touch type?? I mean how hard can it be

Al, I just hope this conversation with your wife didn't start with "Honey, I bet after 6 weeks I can type as fast as you..." You'll be eating those words along with doing the cooking!

My 17 year old daughter was poking fun at my 14 year old sons typing. She said that he did not type he pecked. He answers in a serous manner yes but I'm a good pecker

Practice, practice, practice. I'm glad it was a required course when I was in high school. Manual typewriter no less.
