How to place display objects??
Currently working on a kitchen layout. I am trying to place a range top on top of a base cabinet. I can move the object up and down, left and right but cannot move backwards/forwards. I need to move it back to the wall, right now its sitting in the middle of the kitchen...floating in air Why cant you move these things in wireframe?
Please help

Re: How to place display objects??
This is funny, so since my post I have been trying any display object. Plant, sink, range top.....etc. I choose the object, it pops up on plan. I plug in left/right coordinates and up/down coordinates. Theres no other back/front??? relation to wall?

Re: How to place display objects??
Do you have a left or right wall. If not create a left or right wall and associate the object to that wall. Then go to the elevation view for that wall and type in your coordinates. I have no problem moving these objects in plan view left and right forward and back by selecting it and holding shift and using the up,down, left and right arrow keys. The only way that I know of to move the object up and down is by associating it to a wall and then go to the elevation view.

Select the object. Hold the Control key and move it left, right, up or down with the right mouse button.

Also try setting your "Place Mode" to Free style that sometimes helps as well.
