Moving Cabinet
Hello everyone,
I am working on my first job in the 5.2 build 3. I am encountering some problems.
I am trying to place a a sink cabinet. Once I pick it, I change the size from 36in to 33in and click ok. The closest that I can get to my corner cabinet is 2in. That causes a problem in my layout. If I click to go to the left (opposite) the cabinet jumps to the door of the kitchen.
Has anyone else have had this problem? Does anyone have any idea on what I should do?
Thanks
S Fetter

Right click on your screen int he room layout. Go to define standard dimensions. Check the cabinet to cabinet clearance, make sure this is not set to 2". If it is change it to 0" and it will work fine.

You will have to make the two cabinets an assembly for what you are trying to do. I have attached a modified version of your room. Hope this helps.

That is not a corner cabinet that your trying to place the cabinet next to, this is why it will not snap to its edge. I deleted your cabinet and made sure mine cabinet to cabinet was set to zero, zoom in on the area I wanted to install the cabinet and it installed fine. You can also try changing the place mode to free style and add the cabinet.

Re: Moving Cabinet
I appreciated that Walker.
I guess that will solve my problem for the time being.
Thanks again!

Re: Moving Cabinet
Justin,
Thank you very much.
How would you define a corner cabinet. I need a cabinet in that shape and there is nothing like in the standard cabinets.
Could you give me couple hints to make a corner cabinet in that shape that will snap?
Thanks!

Take a look at this cabinet. It started out as a corner cabinet.

This is a base cabinet detached toe and yes you can put face frames on it.
