I can get your part to profile to the straight line in the center and it will profile from the other end back to the straight line in the center
I have had a problem with these OG profiles on a complicated part edge similar to yours in the past and Tech support could not resolve the issue They even tried using ArtCam and they could not get it to work
Are you able to create DXF files of the part and profile I have a couple more Ideas but I need the DXFs
I have spent hundreds of hours on problems like this
Will, I have tried a DXF of a similar shape to Kerry's, and all I could do is the straight sections using Single selection. In Partial selection, I could only select two edges.
I dont have a dog in this fight, but it seems Kerry has officially gone over to "the dark side". He is now one of those "needy" machinists. He seems to keep coming up with one needed feature after another, and as yet, has not gone back to school to learn programming.

I can't accept that it cannot be done in eCabinets. I can get the part to profile using a chain operation so it should also perform the partial.
I can always use wider stock, profile it as a chain operation and saw off the back side. I would like it to work properly though. Parts like this are what eCabinets has always been about.
Sorry for the delayed response back. I have this on the list to be looked at, especially the chain verses partial chain. I know that if a smaller diameter tool is used, it will perform better. Our 3rd party solids engine seems to not enjoy the tight corners that can cause the tool to wrap back over itself. We have several cases submitted to them in hopes that they are resolved or improved. I will try to keep you informed as I find anything more out on this. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Can you do a partial using this tool? { Amana Tool\AMA-56208-noBEARING.tol } This one works for me. Attach the small .tol file that you used if you don't mind.
